SW110 E-Waste Compliance in Malaysia

Licensed handling of scheduled e-waste with consignment notes, certificates of disposal and audit-ready documentation.

What is SW110?

SW110 is the Malaysian scheduled waste code for electrical and electronic waste under the Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005. Any business generating e-waste must dispose of it through a DOE-licensed contractor with proper consignment notes and certificates of disposal. SND Recycler is DOE-licensed for SW110 handling across Malaysia, providing full documentation from pickup to final disposal.

Your compliance obligations

As a generator of scheduled e-waste, your organisation must engage a DOE-licensed contractor, maintain consignment notes for every transfer, store e-waste safely on-site, and retain certificates of disposal for audit. Failure to comply can result in fines, stop-work orders, or premises license issues. SND Recycler handles all four obligations on your behalf and provides an audit-ready documentation pack.

Licensed handling

Only engage DOE-licensed contractors for collection and disposal.

Documentation

Maintain consignment notes and certificates of disposal for audit.

Safe storage

Store e-waste securely, especially batteries and items with refrigerants.

Traceability

Keep records linking generated waste to compliant disposal.

How we support compliance

We provide the complete compliance package: DOE consignment notes, weight records, certificates of disposal, and serial-level data destruction certificates. All documents are issued digitally within one business day of collection and are formatted to plug directly into ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ESG reporting frameworks. On request, we also produce a sustainability summary showing recovery weights and CO₂ estimates.
